Staffan är född och uppvuxen på österlens landsbygd i Skåne.
Han har en byggteknisk utbildning i botten och har även studerat marknadsföring och affärsutveckling. Staffan är kapten och reservofficer på arméns fallskärmsjägarskola, där mottot är vilja, mod och uthållighet. Han har även tjänstgjort på Lapplandsjägarna i Kiruna och var så sent som i somras med och hoppade fallskärm i luftlandsättningen under 75-årsjubileumet i Normandie.
